Luca Paolini

Italian-born DJ/artist/producer, Luca Paolini, has acquired a following for good reason; he brings energy to the room, playing and producing up-lifting music with such catchy hooks and licks you’ll have no choice but to get up and dance.

After hearing Italian dance outfit, Par-T-One’s classic house track ‘I’m So Crazy’ back in 2001 (it remains a favourite to this day) Luca instinctively knew where he wanted to be; behind the decks, and so, ever tenacious, he began organizing parties for students in his hometown of Senigallia, which soon gathered momentum and a cult underground following of his particular blend of deep, vocal house and commercial dance. It was at the Shalimar Club (Senigallia) however, where he really got his first break, seizing the opportunity to mix up a few tracks while the headliner slipped off to the loo! He made such an impact that he was asked to return in 2002 to headline the much coveted new year’s eve slot, playing to a discerning crowd of over 2000, his set going out live on local radio.

After a few years on the Italian dance-circuit, in 2006 Mykonos – the chic Greek party island that has earned a reputation as a ‘mini Ibiza’ – beckoned. Mixing up tracks on Paraga beach by day, his talent was soon spotted by one of the island’s most notorious venues, Skandinavian Bar, and he was offered a 7 night residency bringing his feel-good sound to eager clubbers from all over the world.

Leaving the island’s party-goers wanting more, Mykonos invariably opened doors and upon his return to Italy in 2012 Luca found himself something of a secret weapon on the Italian club scene, headlining at BAIA IMPERIALE (Riccone) playing to crowds of 5000 plus, as well as numerous guest slots at various leading venues across the country including, Makkia club (Urbino), Miu Miu (Marotta) Green leaves (Porto Recanati), Terrazza Martini (Pesaro), Casale (Reggio Emilia) Pagodino (Brescia) No!se (Florence), The Beach Club (Milan), Byblos (Riccione) and Tirana Club (Albania) to name just a few.

Luca’s talent for crowd-pleasing lies primarily in his intricate knowledge and passion for house music, sighting his many influences as Raul & Doors, Infinity Ink, Noir and Dennis Ferrer among others. He is currently in the studio producing his official debut track, due for release this summer.
